8 Bedrooms We Wish We Had as a Kid
From trampolines to outfit changing mirrors, these famous bedrooms had it all.
Tom Hanks had trampolines and pinball machines in Big, Sabrina had that outfit changing mirror. They may all be fictional characters, but that doesn't mean we didn't have real dreams of these bedrooms growing up.
Here are the on-screen bedrooms that will bring you back.
1. Josh Baskin's flat in Big
Aside from the trampolines, bunk beds and free Pepsi – we most definitely wouldn't say no to living in this huuge Manhattan apartment today.
2. Cher Horowitz's wardrobe in Clueless
The scene in Clueless where Cher gets the perfect 90s outfit by clicking through her genius technology wizardry, we needed that.
3. Andy's room in Toy Story
Toys that came to life. And the dream world looked even better with Andy's cloud-studded wall. Still love it? Try it for yourself with this step-by-step guide, How to Achieve A Storybook Themed Room
4. Full House
The Tanners house in general had plenty of 90s decor we lusted over. Lipstick-shaped phone? Check. George Michael poster? You bet.
5. Clarissa Explains It All
Clarissa Darling's room was girly meets too-cool-for-school. She had a dollhouse made by her dad “out of real housing materials that she uses for all of her video equipment,” a collection of weird hats, hubcaps on the wall, and black checkered paint over the flowered pink wall paper. Plus having our best friend climb in through the window, without having to chat to the parents? The ultimate dream.
6. Home Alone
So much room for activities. The Mcallister household was completely kitted out for a kid on their own.
7. Sabrina the Teenage Witch
The mirror. Changing outfits in the morning would have been a breeze if we had Sabrina's Magical Mirror.
8. Ferris Bueller's Bedroom
"I asked for a car, I got a computer". We wanted that computer. Ferris' room had everything we ever needed to fulfil our fantasy of bunking off school with our best friends.
