Product Description

Dulux Stabilising Primer is a high quality ready-to-use primer suitable for interior and exterior. Use to strengthen, seal and prime brittle and dusty substrates, such as dusty plaster and powdery concrete render. The primer creates a sound surface for the appropriate Dulux topcoat. Ideal for use with Dulux Weathershield Masonry paint for exterior walls, or a suitable Dulux paint for interior walls and ceilings.

Application Description

Apply 1 coat of Dulux Stabilising Primer with a brush or roller to seal any areas that remain powdery and dusty after the surface has been fully prepared. When fully dry, apply 2 coats of the selected Dulux topcoat. Apply only in dry conditions, above 10°C and when bad weather is not forecast.

Tips & Advice

1. Preparing the Surfaces

Remove flaking or defective paint and sand down the surface to remove any sheen. Refer to health, safety and environmental information. Make sure the surfaces to be sealed are clean (no dirt or grease) and dry.
2. Cleaning

Remove excess product from tools before washing with warm water. Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
3. Storing

Store paint in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures.
