Paint a page-turner

Here, we’ve used two colours from the palette to carve out a reading nook for all-important time-out, painting Coastal Grey on the wall above the shelf as a soft and soothing backdrop, and Polished Pebble on the shelf itself as a complementary shade. Better still, using Dulux Simply Refresh One Coat meant the walls could be coloured quickly and easily, while 2-in-1 Dulux Simply Refresh Multi-surface primed and painted the shelf at the same time. The result? Somewhere to curl up with a good book and get lost in your own imagination.

We’ve divided the walls of this living room by painting them in a trio of shades from the Relaxation palette. Cloudy Coastal Grey has been used on the back wall for a dreamy background and deep Sapphire Salute has been painted on the wall around the window for a bold but still calming accent. Reinvigorating Polished Pebble has been used on the skirting and door for a complementary flourish. Painting the walls in Dulux Simply Refresh One Coat meant it couldn’t have been be quicker or easier to give them some flair, while using Dulux Simply Refresh Multi-surface to prime and paint the woodwork at the same time was effortless.
