How to use classic colours to create a dining nook

This dining area gets a bespoke split wall treatment using one of our favourite one-coat Feature Wall shades, Decadent Damson with a single coat of traditional White Cotton on top. It’s a tried-and-tested Traditionalist with a Twist colour combination: high-contrast pairings that feel both grown-up and totally on-trend.

If your room works double-duty – either as a kitchen and dining room, or a bedroom and a home office – using paint to zone the space with a split or feature wall is a practical decision, but also a beautiful one. We love the way the deep plum of Decadent Damson trails around the corners of the room and encloses the space for a cosy feel while the pale tones of White Cotton keep the rest of the space airy.
